Mario has worked with several celebrities such as Kate Bosworth, Ariana Grande, among many others. He believed the tea tree oil is a practical cure to his own breakouts and believes that this oil possesses medicinal effects. Mario is not a certified dermatologist but is worth trusting him when he talks about good skin.
He is not alone in the belief that the tea tree oil has powerful effects on acne. In fact, this oil is actually popular as a fully natural solution for people with acne. The oil is gotten from a tree found in Australia and has several antifungal and antibacterial properties that do not just kill these bacteria but also cause the bacteria to dry out.

People who have dry skin are not supposed to use the oil so often but it is effective for almost all types of skin and by applying a small amount to the skin works to cure. The tea tree oil isn’t so expensive and costs between 10 to 15 dollars per bottle. The essential oil has also been added as an integral part of several skincare products and brands aiming to fight acne naturally.
A lot of people attest to the fact that the oil works on their skin, but they find the smell terrible. The odor should however not stop one from enjoying its other benefits.
Usage of Tea Tree Oil
You should use tea tree oil for treating pimples if your skin isn’t sensitive. This is because it has stripping effects and using it in the absence of a carrier if you have dry skin could cause itchiness or skin irritations.
You may also choose to use little drops if you have fungal infections or for bug bites. According to a certified dermatologist, Amy Galper, with a slight infection on a particular spot, you may want to eradicate germs getting in and that’s one of the instances when you can use only tea tree oil.
There are times when you shouldn’t use tea tree oil alone and have to mix with other types of essential oils. If your skin is ultra-sensitive, you can use tea tree if you are on the verge of having a breakout. However, Galper recommends pairing team tree oil with other milder products such as geranium and palmarosa. These products have calmer effects and can help to reduce irritation. It is important to bear in mind to use it for inflamed areas and not rubbing all over the skin.
You can also pair tea tree oil with any carrier oil. This is suitable when the issue you have is beyond the skin and includes winter cords or muscle soreness. Galper explained that the most effective way to carry it in is through blending the oil with fatty substances such as sunflower oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, almond oil and sesame oil. By using these oils, it’s easier for tea tree to come in contact with the blood vessels.

The difference exists between tea tree oil that is authentic and that which isn’t. Galper advises buyers to ensure that it is indicated on the product bottle or its product description that it has been distilled and was not extracted through solvents. Also, ensure that authentic or genuine is written on the label and don’t take if it includes fragrance.
